Reuters: Rudy in 4th at 13% in Florida

If we can somehow manage to beat Rudy in Florida, by some miracle, that would be awesome.

I highly doubt we'll end up beating Rudy, but it would be great if Ron finished behind him instead of dead last place.

Tough to call, but I hope McCain loses to Romney.

Third place: Ron Paul

Who cares about fourth and fifth? Neverhasbeens go home.

CNN Gop Debates -- Wednesday (1/30) -- does anyone know the time -- is it 5:00 pacific time?

Maybe I'm being way too optimistic but after what I saw today, beating Rudy doesn't sound that far fetched. Of course I'm tempering my optimism with pragmatism but the chance does exist.

I think both Huck and Rudy are out. Huck is broke and everybody now hates Rudy.

Forget both of them.

Concentrate on what's making Romney win. That AMAZES me, particularly in Florida.

He uses phone broadcast a lot.

He stands proudly. He's got a nice suit. Ron Paul could do that too. That alone probably gets Romney an extra 5%.

There is an older gal (mid 70s) that loves Mitt just because of the way he looks! He is tall and handsome she says and even though I shot him down about being a gun grabber she is still in love with him just because of his looks. His looks are a big reason the old ladies like him so much there are a lot of widows that are lonely. Unfortunately looks are important to some voters rather than issues.

We need Romney to beat McCain. Romney as a liberal northeasterner, he will tank in the south.
If McCain maintains mo and takes Florida, he is the only one who can campaign nationally.
We do not want anyone gaining the big MO except Dr. Paul until the convention.
The best scenerio besides Paul winning would be Romney ahead of McCain, Guiliani third and Huckabee fifth behind the good doctor.

I have no liking for Mr. 9/11 - but it would have been fun if he had kept Mr. Mc"NameDropper"Cain from moving forward!

That's because 13% still haven't seen these:

Rudy's done for after Florida. *queues up Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust"*

At best, he's now looking at a virtual tie for 5th with Dr. Paul, and he MIGHT even lose outright yet again, in the state he spent his entire campaign on. He'll resign sometime shortly before Super Tuesday more than likely. After that, we're looking at a 4-way race, and I expect Huckster will be the casualty of Super Tuesday, leaving just the Rom, McCain, and us. The fact that we'll be sticking in it to win it will truly make it a 3-way race, because people will see that we're not going away and thus a VIABLE candidate.

We won't have the most delegates, but we'll have enough to tear through primary after primary after primary gaining more and more steam, and more and more delegates.

Crazy? I don't think so. ;)

We didn't a damn vote from Fred and Rudy. It all went to Romney.

Let's analyze his message and see what he's doing right. There are hardly any Mormons in Florida, so Religion is NOT an issue.

No, I'm guessing it's the social security. They just don't want anyone dicking with them, forget the fact that it's going to die, if it's not already dead.

:rolleyes:Bloody sheep: anything for a steady check.

We can beat Rudy again! Everyone call anyone and everyone you know in Florida and get them out to vote for RP. Their vote WILL matter!!!

As reported on MSNBC this morning -
and linked at : http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSN2428418520080127

McLame and Willard are deadlocked at 30%, with Muck Hickabee now in third in the Sunshine State.

And the ex-Dem. ex-Indeep., ex-New York Sanctuary City mayor, fake catholic,
adulterer, 1969 draft dodger Rudy Giuliani is NOW in fourth place
, just barely in the teens.
While it wouldn't mean much/anything in delegates, we MIGHT be able to defeat Rudy again - maybe get him excluded from the ABC debate since they apparently can only afford four podiums at ABC.

All five candidates WILL be at the CNN debate on Wednesday,
an encore performance at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.

Excerpts from Reuters link :
" . . . move past former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who continued his downward slide
by losing two points to 13 percent."

and -
"Giuliani, the one-time leader in national polls whose standing has plummeted after he pulled out of the early voting states to focus on Florida, continued a slide that has cast doubt on the future of his campaign."

"Giuliani is becoming less and less of a factor here," Zogby said.

If he loses Florida like he is expected to, then why is he taking up valuable space in tomorrow nights debate?
