Results starting to come in...

Looks like it was dead on with the polls from earlier - I don't know how they projected Romney to be the winner especially since a number of polls closed 2 minutes ago..and theres only 9% reporting LOL.

It's a PROJECTION based on statistics. Sometimes it is wrong, but not very often (>99%).
They've been doing this for years and are projecting earlier as computing power increases each election cycle.
Once in a while they eat crow, but not often enough to stop doing it.

Every state we dont "lose" in, we gain supporters.
It makes people think "Wow, he's beating both Thompson and Giuliani. Maybe he DOES have a chance." Im fine with 4th.

Same to you, the rank is not nesessarily good it could be divided 33%, 33%, 33%, 1% so 4th could still suck. Let's focus on the %. How many people stand behind the Revolution.

Has HUCKABEE literally stolen PAUL's message ?!

He's rambling on about "small government' 'Government staying out of the peoples lives' 'Freemarket'

WHAT the ............... ?!

Is this real ?

I think the "top tier" cadidates are trying to position themselves to pick up Paul supporters should he drop out.

It looks like about 60,000 Paul supporters showed up today. That's a good result I think.

Clarify? I see 8200 on politico right now... It would be great if that goes up to 60,000!! especially considering the talk of a not-too-high turnout.

Huckster will do anything to try to swing voters to his side. His Theocratic speech in Michigan though might kill any hopes of drawing independents or moderates to his side in the future, regardless of stealing the true fiscal policies that Dr. Paul has been preaching.

It just goes to show that Dr. Paul is influencing this race though when other candidates are having to make concessions to true fiscal conservatism in the hopes to drawing away his ever-growing support base away.

Dr. Paul's numbers keep going up in Michigan now btw, if anyone's following. Thompson and Rudy have virtually flatlined where they are, and Huckabee doesn't appear to be gaining much more ground in comparison. If we take fourth, it will be a STRONG fourth. Rudy and Thom Thom may have to pack their bags here soon if these trends continue.

Mitt is giving his acceptance speech and Fox News has declared him winner already.. WTH

I saw your post. Im just saying that we gain support just by staying ahead of the other candidates.

Here's an interesting stat from the exit polls:

Code:
Regardless of how you voted today, which one of these candidates is most likely to bring needed change to the country?
Category	% Total	Giuliani	Huckabee	Hunter	McCain	Paul	Romney	Thompson	Unc.
Rudy Giuliani	4	39	10	-	20	-	28	2	-
Mike Huckabee	17	3	79	-	9	1	5	0	2
John McCain	27	1	4	-	87	1	7	0	1
Ron Paul	13	2	9	-	12	52	18	6	2
Mitt Romney	31	1	3	0	3	2	88	1	2
Fred Thompson	4	5	5	1	-	-	34	55	-

So 13% of voters think Paul would bring "needed change" but only half of them vote for him, likely because of electablity. sad ;(

Good point...Too bad, this is why higher and higher rankings help more and more!
