I think these numbers will hold. VERY happy with the results. Now it's a matter of seeing if we can get within a single digit of Romney, expand to two digits over Huntsman, and see both Gingrich and Santorum slip to single digits.

That would actually be the dream scenario.

Because 20% is a decent sample to project any "surging" from unexpected areas. The %'s have been incredibly consistent to be honest.

Which is why they wait untill +/- 20% are reporting. It gives a good cross section of every type of county, from the old, the new, the liberal, and the conservative.

That is okay. TV stations want to be the first to report news and so they have gotten into the game of calling the winner before it is officially over. Just because they call a winner does not make it official. The votes have to be counted and certified.
