Republicans, Ron Paul Was Your Only Hope

Dr. Paul is the President the country "needs"

However he is not the president the country "deserves".

The majority of the sheeple in this country deserve the bleak future given to them by McCain or Obama. They willingly gave up their free will and rationality to the government. So I say let them enjoy the hell that is to come.

Where does that leave us? Limbo I guess. The only real option for us is to stay organized and cleanse our local levels of government of problems. Unfortunately there is no practical way for us alone to come together in a sense of forming a cohesive community while still holding on to the ideals of free-markets and self determination.

I tend to agree, the country doesn't deserve him.

But, didn't he set fundraising records? I haven't followed recently, have they been broken? I look back and think, was there any MORE we could have done?

I will keep talking about it and reminding people.

I have heard the idea that a successful liberty candidate could be achieved two ways; one if a regular candidate gets elected and (miraculously) changes policy in office and starts following the constitution. Second, having a famous, yet serious actor figure to run such as a Robert Redford type (maybe when he was younger) ar Martin Sheen (he played one on TV), etc...

The Republicans could have picked a serious candidate. A wise man willing to tell the American people what they needed to hear.

However, instead of picking Ron Paul, the Republicans chose a senile, half-wit neocon warmonger.

They made their bed, let them lie in it.

Frankly, I'll be cheering when McWar and his clueless little buddy (Palin) go down in flames in November- it'll probably be the most fun I've had on election night since Reagan crushed Mondale in 1984!
