Republican Liberty Caucus Election?

I was recently surprised to see a fellow liberty person promoting a facebook page for Dave Nalle for RLC chair. Isn't he the guy sniping at Ron constantly that led to an exodus of people from RLC? A quick search showed a few references in a DP post.

I'm not involved at this point, but it almost seems like we'd want to weigh on this race. Who are his opponents? I couldn't find info by Googling. Anyhow, maybe others will know better what the situation is and if it's worth our time.

He does have a tendency to snipe at Dr, Paul.
His usual criticisms are about Ron Paul being pro-life or how all his supporters are bat-shit nuts.
He especially HATES religion, 9/11 truthers, birthers, alex jones, conspiracy nuts.

Most of that occurred during the primary when he was supporting Gary Johnson,
Although he does still go on a rant about the DP + all the nutty Paul supporters every now and then.
Sometimes he is a dick about it, sometimes he makes a good point.
I think it primarily pisses him off b/c he spends all of his time as RLC chair trying to forge alliances between different factions in the party.

Perhaps someone who doesn't bash religion and people who are pro-life all day long might be better for our cause considering 90% of the electorate that we have to win over are firm Christians. Scaring away the alex jones types isn't necessarily helpful either. They are annoying but I think they serve a purpose.
Otherwise, I am relatively content with him as chair.
