TBH I don't see this as abnormal or wrong. The secret service are very professional and would not ask someone to leave without due cause. Reporters certainly are NOT allowed to attempt to hand ANYTHING to the president so if she talked to an agent and made it clear that she was going to be trouble I would have had her removed as well.

I kinda like that. It is obscene that -- in the socioeconomic realm where big bucks are dropped at trendy restaurants, luxury hotels and private clubs -- proprietors and customers alike continue to lavish special treatment on unequivocal Bad Guys. Partly because they DO drop big bucks and partly because Americans are star-crazed, really icky people get the warmest welcomes, the best tables, the biggest suites and the most leeway.

George Bush is on the speaking circuit, I hear, but the journalist did NOT report the speaking fee. Seems like a pretty important part of the story, to me -- how you can go down in many credible circles as the worst president EVER, then make ANOTHER killing giving revisionist speeches about it.

I'm not gonna lie, I would really enjoy seeing some over-ripe produce -- splat -- right to the upper body, extra points for head shots. Tomato seeds and mush slithering down the fronts of the automaton suits behind which they hide, with the help of slithering lawyers in OTHER automaton suits, would be FANtastic for serf morale.
