interesting.. the government treats most political activists that cause trouble in other countries as heroes... but when political activists start trouble in the USA, its a nono.
They don't want an Amerikan Spring. They've already got the government in place that they want.
So they are not even hiding behind laws anymore?? Just blatant Gestapo action?
Noted.
Yep. This is exactly what the Gestapo did, to a T. How people don't realize this, I will never understand. How it isn't a matter of national outcry that we LITERALLY have the modern Gestapo running around raiding people's houses is just beyond me.
I remember seeing a scene from one of those WWII nazi Germany movies where the main character watched across the street as the Gestapo raided an apartment and the Jewish family was required to stand. The old decrepid man was unable, although he tried feverishly with his arms to lift himself. After failing, the Gestapo then lifted his wheelchair and dumped him out of the window from about ten stories up.
What really scares me is the idea that things like this may happen here... and nobody would do a thing about it. Too few people would know about it.
According to Canadian historian Robert Gellately's analysis of the local offices established, the Gestapo was—for the most part—made up of bureaucrats and clerical workers who depended upon denunciations by citizens for their information.
Gellately argued that it was because of the widespread willingness of Germans to inform on each other to the Gestapo that Germany between 1933 and 1945 was a prime example of Panopticism. Indeed, the Gestapo—at times—was overwhelmed with denunciations and most of its time was spent sorting out the credible from the less credible denunciations.
Many of the local offices were understaffed and overworked, struggling with the paper load caused by so many denunciations. Gellately has also suggested that the Gestapo was "a reactive organization" that "...which was constructed within German society and whose functioning was structurally dependent on the continuing co-operation of German citizens".
Know or care?
Hell, they'll cheer it on.
I know of more than couple of people that would cheer if a cop defenestrated a Ron Paul "nut" or a "peace queer".
Ah, "pre crime".
Arrests and break ins and getting tackled and abused by goons with guns and badges.
Warrants? We doan need no steekin warrants.
Outside, it's Amerika...
Any news from Chi-town?
Copters in formation.....jackboots marching in lockstep?
I still say the best idea would be for nobody to show up, have the gov standing there looking like morons late for the Call of Duty Halloween party.

I'm intrigued. Do we know this story is real? I mean, did they even give a reason for the arrest? And warrant had no judge signature? Look, I'm skeptical. The police would have lost a court case anyways, under all these assumptions. And even if there is some conspiracy, I'm still skeptical about this particular article.
