Report: Milk Could Skyrocket To $8 A Gallon If Farm Bill Not Passed

The density of economic ignorance and falsehood in these reports is so great that it threatens to collapse in on itself forming a gravitational singularity.

'swhat happens when zeros try to divide, one might say ...

The government can MAKE you buy dairy, mister.

How so? I am a vegan. (Im not being snotty, I'm asking)

I eat mainly, Rice and potatoes.

If you are basing it on an assumption that I pay taxes, then I can see your point of course.

Sadly, this just sounds like another threat rather than an actual "Report". It's all FUBAR! [Insert V's "THEY NEED US" video here]

If they can make you buy insurance, they can make you buy milk. They just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Nobody can MAKE me or anybody else do anything, I have a choice and will not be buying milk Or insurance! :)

Personal freedom takes a lot of work and I of course understand that enforcing my rights sometimes takes violence in the form of defense. I am prepared to defend myself and rights to the fullest.

The "thing" you buy in grocery stores is not milk! They take out of it so many things and add new ones (ahem...sweeteners...aspartame...pus or "somatic cells") that it can not be called milk.
If you leave it for a day and it does not separate fatty stuff on top it is not real milk.

That being said I am more "yogurt guy"... dont like taste of milk.

It is already way too high for those who switched to milk from harmones free cows. Organic milk prices were supposed to come down with time due to increase in customer base.. but instead prices have been sky rocketing. Few years ago they were around $6/g and now over $9/g !
They have almost doubled in last 5-6 years. We need a POTUS who will lower milk prices.

I had read somewhere that Milk n Eggs were one the best protein sources for those working out.

This is just some sloppy quick thinking but correct me if I'm wrong:

Food stamp program will get cut-off resulting is $80 billion less in food spending some of which I would imagine include buying milk. Money goes poof and so does all that artificial demand for said food products. Lower demand = lower prices (last time I checked). Article says prices will go up? What's going on?

I'd make a terrible farmer, the government should pay me not to farm, where is my subsidy?

There's that libertarian spirit!

Sounds like "boogity-boogity" screaming for more government...
