Im just waiting to see you guys get "Rick Rolled"... I'd do it but don't have the heart

why have you posted at least 5 times dismissing the importance of this endorsement? what is the point of that?

Because there is no excuse for not having tons of videos of this. If this is "game changing" than why is there no videos released by the campaign, but just one crappy qualitfacebook video? Seriously, it is insulting to Senator Davis.

Then why not just say that? Something like: "Man, given the importance of this endorsement, why did the campaign not release a video?"

That's a valid criticism.

But you keep posting stuff like:

"It really tells you how overblown the endorsement is."
"Maybe the endorsement isn't that big. I only see it covered on a few South Carolina news websites."
"Such a huge endorsement, not one video anywhere." [fairly obvious sarcasm in line with the other posts]

You complain that the campaign is diminishing the importance of the endorsement by not releasing a vid, but you are posting repeatedly that the endorsement isn't important. What kind of purpose does that sort of negativity serve? I understand the criticism of the campaign, here... but not the unadulterated negativity in regards to the endorsement itself.

I mean, seriously, i picked up on your negativity just by reading these threads and seeing your name next to lots of negative posts. this is a big event, a good event, and we should be happy. why act like it's not important?

Nope, not valid.

The first statement is absolutely true, it is overblown. Why? Because there is nothing out there showing the endorsement. A press release and an event. No videos. When you call it game changing, and don't put out...it is overblown. By definition. It doesn't rise to that level.

Second statement. What is wrong with it? Have you ever been told that you may not care about something unless you show it? Well the campaign and supporters should show they care. By having one low quality video, it tells me that many people don't care. Otherwise, there would be a lot more respect given to it. I was basically saying to a kid, "well you must not think the Nintendo present is a big deal because you left it on the floor to get stepped on."

Third statement. It is huge, not game changing, but huge. Especially locally in South Carolina, yet there wasn't (at the time) one video posted. It was a criticism of the campaign and grassroots. I find it disrespectful to someone like Senator Davis who has been very positive toward the campaign to get that sorta reception. We have tons of videos of other Ron Paul rally's and speeches...even when he is walking through a room, yet we can't get a video his speech. It can be huge, yet overblown (especially considering the attention, care and effort given to it).

I have never said the endorsement isn't important. Point out to where I said it wasn't important. Now you are putting words in my mouth (unintentionally) and I ask you to withdraw this particular statement, please.

I'm a negative person, sorry. Today was a crap day, so sorry I'm not a phony, optimist like most people are.

I am happy, but I am sad that this is the respect we give the endorsement. We are being neglectful of it.

Maybe I'll be more direct: YOU are being extremely disrespectful of Tom Davis and his endorsement. Am I being clear? Hiding behind criticizing the campaign only goes so far when I can quote multiple posts direct from your mouth that are disrespectful to Tom Davis and the endorsement.

Also, just because people disagree with you does not make them 'phony'.

Perhaps when you're having such a 'crap day' you should take a day off from posting. It isn't as helpful as you seem to think it is.

Fair enough.

It will be noted.

I see where you are coming from (and I never said you were a phony, but there are those people here...the same people saying we'd get 50% in New Hampshire...those type of people I am referring to), and you make valid points. However, my statements were taken out of context, in my opinion.

But, no hard feelings.
