Why are the legislators given the “special privilege” of Constitutional Carry when the people don’t have it? Legislators can legally carry a weapon without a permit, why can’t the people of the state? Where is the NRA on this issue?

When we work together to move and pass HB 89 Constitutional Carry, we will begin to restore the proper relationship between the government and the people.
The people are tired of being manipulated by unwritten policies, ad hoc committees, and leadership members that want to be parents of the people instead of representatives. We want government to respect our unalienable rights to defend ourselves.
Leadership and liberal media outlets will claim that the bill is poorly written, but the Idaho Attorney General says “2015 HB 89, would violate neither the Idaho Constitution nor the United States Constitution.”
Bottom line is that the people should be controlling their government, not the government controlling the people! The people want HB 89 to be voted on. They do not want their representation circumvented by ad hock committees and controlling establishment leadership.
