I saw a blog saying something about that and they still believe that happened, so I'm posting the actual debate question and answer:
This is particularly galling because Ron in his private practice refused medicare, and medicaid, yet never turned anyone away for inability to pay, and gave terms or discounts or free care as needed. And he required that the guy who join his practice do the same thing, in order to become a partner.
