Psychologists tell us that POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT is very powerful.

There will be more votes coming up quick.

Send your Rep. a "Thank You" if they voted "nay" on the bailout. We want them to continue to vote "nay."

Send your Rep. a "you're fired" if they voted "yay." They may be frightened into a "nay" vote on the next modified bill.

God bless you all!

I don't think people vote YAY!

Maybe some of the younger reps, or perhaps the NY Reps.

Didn't Tom Tancredo run for President on the Repub ticket?

Is he a free market guy?

Not trying to ask rhetorical questions, but he voted FOR this thing.

I wonder how effective it might be to (after sending thank yous to No voters) to send notes, even if from out of state, to Yes voters...

Tom, I am shocked and saddened...

I told my Congressman (Chris Smith - R NJ) I'm willing to endure stock market gyrations short-term if it means dollar strength long term...

Yeah I seen that.. Tancredo was on the ticket.. He was big time anti-illegal imigration, but i'm not sure how "free market" he was. Well, I guess this pretty much spells it out.

Heck ya! Punish the "yes" voters. They might vote differently later in the week!

Cannon (R-UTah) voted yes, I am sure because he was beaten in the primaries so he will not be up for re-election and is fighting for the establishment to his last breath in Congress.

I wish he was running for re-election so I could campaing against him. Hopefully Jason Chavvetz will be a big improvement.

Is Congress.org down.
Phone lines busy
Cannot get through to V Foxx 5th District
As much hell as I have given her in the past week I need to give some praise.

Yes, yes, yes. I'm SO on board with this. I had little faith yesterday, and I'm stunned that it failed, but we want to reward good behavior.

My congresswoman's email box has been turned off. Nothing is going through now. At least she got my first email and voted accordingly :)

Maybe a phone call..

Will do, I'm amazed that my Democrat representative in CA voted NAY!

This is what I wrote, incase somebody would like to use it as a template...

Dear Representative Linda T. Sanchez,

I would just like to thank you for voting NO on the recent bailout package. Please remain steadfast in your judgment as the establishment continues to pressure the public in support of a bailout for wallstreet with our tax money. I support your vote and will continue to keep a close watch on future votes.

My representative, Bob Inglis, voted in favor. What makes me more upset is that this November a Democrat is running against him. So its a socialist in a suite vs. a socialist in a suite.. I called his staff to find out he voted against and emailed him a hotly worded email calling him a socialist. Looks like I'm voting third party, which is what I would have done anyway, lol.

It hasn't arrived at the Senate, but I went ahead and wrote to both of my senators.
