They were not saying they were with Rudy. In fact the ProLife delegates in District 1 I talked to despised Rudy. I think they were more Thompson and Huckabee supporters. They sounded like they liked Ron Paul, and I made sure they knew where he stood on their thought of what the #1 issue in America is today (Pro-Life),

I can't imagine it is illegal for the state GOP to make a list of their preferred candidates and ask people to vote for them. After all, the state GOP could just select their RNC delegates without holding a caucus or primary at all if they wanted to. We're lucky they even give us a chance to compete.
