You know red hots? How about using them as a prop as in "take the red pill". Either attach it to a flyer with a bit of confectioners sugar - the kind that can act as glue, or have a cup of them to get ppl curious enough to read the flyer.

Many offices have a bowl of candy and then - you know Halloween, so that shouldn't be an issue.

It would need to be a really great flyer, though...

If you gave a red pill to someone at a teaparty, they'd look at you like you were crazy. I don't think they'd get it - but I like the concept.

why not get empty red & blue capsule sleeves and fill them with slips of paper a la fortune cookies. Red ones have snippets of liberty, blue ones are all the same filled with something boring - "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" or something.

That is a pretty neat idea. You should put the label of the red hot candies on the jar/cup so people know that it is candy and not pills..
