the voting has slowed down dramatically, too; I think as others have suggested, their macros failed when the server went into maintenance a few minutes ago lol

It's not that the stakes are high...It's that we have a rep to protect; namely Dr. Paul's rep.

Wow this f***ing sucks. Some Romney bot waited until the night before the poll was to end and spammed it so hard it is likely we're not coming back.

Oh ye of little faith... We are the Rocky Balboa of online polls... We may be down but we sure as hell are not out. C'mon folks... free publicity and a morale boost for a movement that is on the rise again lately... let's keep it going!
 
This thing is going at like 6-7 votes a second and we're still at 43%. I don't think those Romneybots are fully gone.
 
45% now. When/if we pull ahead, we cannot take our foot off the gas. This is the absolute last full day of this poll and if we let up they'll do it again. Take pride in each point Mitt falls....remember we were fairly at 63% before this.

I think so, too; the server's response is actually different in size, as well. It used to send back around 2600 bytes after voting; now it is around 1600 bytes. I'm almost positive this one will be very effective, as it emulates how a real transaction on a web browser would occur.
1. visit site, pick up a cookie
2. vote on that same session with the cookie
3. leave site and delete cookie

Previously, #1 was omitted, so the cookie was entirely omitted from the transaction.
