Here is the file where the raw vote totals are updated and stored

http://www.politico.com//nhprimaries/xml/done.xml

Is there any way someone can write a program or use a program to make copies of this file every couple second (30 sec or so) so afterwards we can double check their tallies and make sure vote counts of 100% precincts didn't change (or anything else funky)

It would be great to have that as a record as well

Bump.

I'm a geek...
But not that much of a geek =(

I should go practice with my glasses more =-/

I am copying screenshots from politico with the time & vote count.

Local tv is saying it's still too close to call both parties.

Same with exit polls...too close to call.

It's not over yet.

bump, we should also make sure to closely watch the paper ballot spots vs. the evil Diebold spots.

do they send everyone home if they close the polls even if you didn't get to vote or what the deal????????

^At least in california, you're guaranteed to vote if you were in line at poll closing time.

as for recording the totals, i just did that using crontab and php, and saved each one into {timstamp}.xml

done, using crontab and php

awesome! i had a program to do this on windows, but i couldn't find one for my mac (which is what i am using)

after this we will just have to write a little program to pull the data out of the xml files and look for a negative differential from one time-stamp to the one after it

The totals for all Repubs just went DOWN!

Now, they're back up. Maybe they're "testing?"
