If you want to vote for a candidate for potus that could actually win you get to chooose R or D. I've voted 3rd party before knowing a win was impossible.
I'm guessing that Rand's internal polling got a noticeable boost after that last debate, particularly in Iowa and New Hampshire, that is specifically being suppressed by the official media polls by targeting demographics hostile to Rand. I don't think Rand is quite in the lead, but I wouldn't be surprised if his internal polling is showing him in 3rd or 4th place right now.
Right to be clear, given a choice I would rather have my money stolen and given away by a socialist that be killed in WW3 by a neocon warmonger. Neither is a good choice.
Libertarianism stems from the individual being the most important and individual and inalienable rights protect this.
Socialism is based on the so called 'social contract'. It implies the masses as a whole are most important and individual rights are alienable.
Big major f-ing difference. Anyone who talks about combining the two has a major lack of knowledge about either.
