Real Estate is the Best Anti-Inflation Play

Lol he just explained to you that he is white.

Actually, no one addressed me. And some of the most racist anti-white people around are White.

I don't hate or fear myself. Or anybody else. Thanks for the concern.

An eight percent increase from the lowest crime rate in 30 years is still a very low crime rate. Nothing goes down (or up) forever. Except time.

I never accused you of hating or fearing yourself. And the article you posted was from 2010, that same site was complaining about higher crime rates in San Diego just a few months ago. The low amount of crime rates can be directly attributed to severe amount of police activity rather than tenuous connection with the high amount of Mexican ethnics, like you implied.

Actually I did address you. What I said:

You are assuming that I am Mexican based on my user name? Sorry to disappoint you- I am not. My ancestry is German. But I also assumed that you were not 80 years old (you seem to claim in the above post that you have lived in San Diego 70 years and from earlier posts sounds like you no longer do so I am assuming at least 80). I guess I was wrong as well. I have lived here for 30 years now.

After I made that statement saying I was not Mexican but was of German Ancestry you made your comment about my hating white people. Since I said I was white that would have meant I hated myself- hence my responce. I may suggest you read posts in the future.

Your quote:
Your irrational fear and hatred of White people seem to be getting the better of you.

I didn't say I thought you were Mexican, or even a Central or South American. That is an assumption YOU are making based on poor information. I simply said I detect a conflict of interest with someone called Zippy/juan in San Diego. It is my choice if I choose to engage someone and I simply chose not to engage you on that topic. I know what I witnessed over the past 40 years there but I will be your Huckleberry for a bit if you want. If you have lived there for the past 30 years and only see a bundle of roses then there is probably little point in a conversation anyways.

Picture looks like Pacific Beach and I don't see one person of color in your pictures. Those are not the people I felt had the challenges in a SHTF situation. An 8 hour outage is hardly the EBT cards getting shut off and no food at the stores. Kind of visualize over 200,000 illegals living hand to mouth after a week or two of that. Oh and picture from San Ysidro to Logan Heights moving up to pillage Pacific Beach to Solana Beach while El Cajon to Corona moves in from the eastern other side converging on the same wealth at the beaches.

Yep, ought to be one big happy family there in San Diego. This is of course assuming another 2 or 3 hundred thousand more illegals don't rush across to join the pillaging party. Half a million illegal aliens with a third world mentality in a place with an overwhelmed and useless law enforcement. San Diego is a powder keg but you may see that scenario as a bunch of Mexican Nationals coming to save the wealthy people at the beaches to bring them tacos, margaritas and some mariachi music until the food supply is restored. I personally don't want to be anyplace near hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens living hand to mouth during a crisis. This is to say nothing of the other hundreds of thousands or resident poor.

I could find a peaceful picture to take in some obscure place in Beverly Hills during the Rodney King riots..... what would that prove? That LA is a good place to be in an economic crisis?

You can be a White that despises the White race, which seems to be true in your case. As you have an irrational fear and hatred of White homogeneous societies and seem to think Mexicans have some 'magical blood' in them which allows them to commit less crimes, which is clearly not the case. I was well aware of your comment earlier, which was my point.

Actually I did address you. What I said:

I was referring to the specific comment you made about one having an irrational (which isn't irrational due to crime statistics) fear of Mexicans. You were addressing another poster.

AH- magic blood. Vs that tainted blood some make it sound like they have that they don't want to be contaminated by getting too close to them. That is how they have a lower crime rate (hint- if you are in a place illegally, you probably don't want to be running around committing crimes which increases the chances you get deported- still haven't been shown factual crime statistics indicating that illegal aliens are more likely to commit crimes than people here legally). All of our ancestors came to the US from some foreign country at some point in our past.

What about states that have property taxes?

If inflation hits, won't houses be estimated to have a higher value?

Say for example: a $100,000 house with a 2.0% interest rate costs $2,000 per year in taxes

Inflation hits & house is appraised a year later at $200,000. Taxes just went up to $4,000 per year.

inflation does not matter regarding your property. it is a local issue. if the taxing authority needs more money, it will tax, and you will pay. inflation rate could be 2%, if the taxing authority give their "brothers" a 15% raise, and take out a $100million dollar bond, you will be paying more. Your house price can go up, in can go down. They don't care.

In California, there is a limit of how much your property taxes can be raised in one year unless it changes hands- that is two percent. The tax is based on what you paid for it- not based on what others in the area are currently selling for like some other states do. If somebody buys the neighbor's house for twice what you paid, your taxes cannot be doubled as well.
