Read between the MSM lines, Dr. Paul is going to be HUGE in this one

I have to say that I'm relieved that we haven't had any horrible threads about cell phones not working and data bases being sabotaged and the like.

I wish someone out there working with the official campaign would post something. If it's good (eek)

I feel for ya, I'm trying to not get my hopes up also. I'm not necessarially predicting Paul is going to come in first or second, theres a HUGE marging between second and third right now, I'm suggesting more of a third place finish, but with a lot bigger margine than anyone thought over fourth.

I'll be happy with 4th, estatic with third place, and probably have to change my pants if anything else (after I'm done jumping up and down while cackeling like a mad man:).

In my cautious optimism I'd like to see Fox explaining why they left the TOP NH candidate out of the NH debate....wishful thinking?

i tend to be more realistic because the MSM will do more to make their preferred candidate look good then they will do to make our candidate look bad.

in other words, they see a defeat coming for their chosen at the hands of someone, maybe RP maybe not, but a defeat non the less.

So, my expectation are defeat Rudy and Thompson, give Huck a run for his money, and then build off that in S.C. MI and FL.

This would be a dream come true. I want to believe what the OP posted, but I was unrealistically optimistic before. I'm hoping for 3rd at the least. We're practically tied for 3rd in the polling, so that's not unreasonable.

Be Optimistic!

We must believe that our fellow countrymen are smarter than they let on.

After a full week of hyping how important the NH primary is, and who is going to get the huge bounce going in to Super Tuesday, all of a sudden EVERY media outlet (literally within the last couple hours) is talking about nothing except how NH doesn't reflect the true voting pattern of America. They are all of a sudden stressing how many independents they have, and how no other state will vote like NH.

Not to get my own hopes up, but I was noticing the exact same trend. I kept listening to the comments over the last 2-3 hours and was shocked by the sudden change in tone from NH as a leader in picking candidates and their record of accuracy to a sudden, "they are such an independent state and don't represent the whole of the country" message. What's that about? Even I thought, "they have information they can't disclose and are setting up for huge results that contradict what their masters want."

this has been conventional wisdom and debated in the past though. its not like this is the first time that people have argued over N.H. and Iowa early nomination status.

Hell look how many states had their delegates whacked for challenging that conventional wisdom this year.

On CNN they pretty much went through every GOP candidate except Ron Paul and gave the reasons why they wouldn't be completely out of it if they lost New Hampshire and listed what other states each candidate could win. That doesn't mean much... and yet, it might.

Damn you.. My hopes are starting to rise.

I'm still expecting 4th with 12%.

the OP says HUGE?

ill wait until the results are in thank you.

aint gonna get caught in another Iowafest.

You guys need to relax.

Prepare to get 4th. Thats whats going to happen.

Be suprised if we get 3rd

Anything better than that would be incredible.

Please get ahold of yourselves. The huge turnout is for Obama. RP will do well, but don't think everyone in NH showed up to vote Republican.

if you are right i dont even know what ill do.....run around the streets skipping around and laughing probably....i wouldnt even be able to contain myself, dont tease me like this, i want this SOOOOO BAD

Why aren't they reporting on the entrance poll results?
They must have a samplesize of a few thousand people by now,
but yet we are not getting any results out of New Hampshire. This is strange.
