So I'm in the drivethru at Culvers today in Portage, WI taking my wife to the train station. As I pull up and am about to order I glance in the side mirror and see some dude in the car behind us yelling out his window at me. I poke my head out the window and yell back "What?". He yells back, "Hey where did you get that Ron Paul sticker?" I was half shocked, and was kind of laughing because the drivethru girl is hearing this whole conversation through the little speaker thing. So I yell back "At his website, RonPaul2012.com!" He's all, "Thanks man! Ron Paul!"

So then we order and while waiting he pulls up behind us again. My wife jumps out and gives him a Ron Paul business card (http://RonPaulCards.com). Turns out the entire car is filled up with people and they were all yelling "Thanks!" and were stoked as hell.

So +4 new RP supporters, completely random encounter. Made me smile. Had to share!

Makes me think of something that happened to me the other night. I was walking home and I stopped off at a convenience store up the street from me to grab something to drink and a snack. I go here all the time and know the two overnight guys fairly well. But I had just gotten my Ron Paul 2012 button not long ago.

So I'm standing there as he's ringing things up and he looks at me and says "Nice button, by the way. I like it a lot." It was pretty cool to hear that he supported Paul. Then he continues "You know, I think it's something. He wins all the straw polls and they're still all like...well this can't win." I simply said to him that "the establishment doesn't want a guy like him to win." He agreed and I left, because another customer was behind me. Thought that was pretty cool.

I was at Arby's with Jeremy (from RPF) and the guy liked Jeremy's Ron Paul shirt so he gave him free food. Lol

I got pulled over by a cop last nite.. (I have a headlight out)..

The cop comes up and just asks for my license and says "that guy on your back bumper.. He cant do any worse than what we've got in the white house right now ya know?" and I agreed with him..... he says, "let me just check your license real quick and we'll have you on your way.."

Comes back, hands back the license.. "have a nice day."

no ticket..

(I have a Ron Paul 2012 bumper sticker on my car)

I've been talking to a co-worker about Ron Paul for a while, but the talk died down a few weeks ago. Friday, she pulled me aside and said that her teenage son was asking her about economics. She said that her son watched the debate and thought Romney and Perry were idiots. She asked him who he liked, and he said "The older guy, Ron Paul. He made sense". He told her he wanted to go to college and learn more about economics after seeing that.

I'm wondering if the tipping point already arrived, with what everyone is sharing here.

My Mom and sister went with me to the straw poll. I had pretty well convinced my mom that Paul was the man (she had been leaning towards Cain) and my sister was undecided. By the end of the presentations, they were both solidly in Paul's camp, and my sister has 4 married kids who were hearing about Ron Paul on the way home from the poll and probably still are.... :)

I had a waiter at Olive Garden trying to sell me on Ron it was hilarious. Lets just say he got a better tip then normal.

Haha I had the same thing happen about avyear ago at a seafood restaurant. I through the guy a healthy tip. Looking out for other supporters :)

Very cool, I live near Portage, over in Baraboo. Keep spreading the word!

We should compile all these stories! I love 'em. I always carry at least three Ron Paul bumper stickers just in case. So far I have given away 4.

So here's my story then...
So I started back at my second job at Wendy's after being out for 4 months with a sprained ankle. I'd been wearing my Ron Paul t-shirt all day. I walked into work wearing it because I hadn't been given a crew shirt yet and was heading back to the office to get one. Some woman standing in line saw my shirt and approached one of the managers asking if employees were allowed to wear political shirts now. She was explained the situation. The woman was like, "Oh, well you know what. I'm leaving and not eating here again" and left! When told, the general manager asked to see my shirt. She had no idea who Ron Paul was. She took a picture of it in case the woman called corporate. The next day I go in for lunch and the district manager is there and talking to me and teasing me about the shirt. She nor the owners of our franchise had no clue who he was. So she tells me they all got online and looked him up. She started ticking off some of RP's stances. They all think seems like a pretty good guy and can't understand why the woman had a problem.
So, long story short... Wendy's lost a customer, but Ron Paul gained about 5 people who'd never heard of him before thinking he was pretty awesome. :)

Nooooo!!!! Don't go to college to learn economics. Giver her son some Austrian economics books.

I'm in Indiana, I went to a gun show yesterday with some friends and found a couple of vendors with Ron Paul 2012 bumper stickers. Even though there was supposed to be 1500 vendors there, I thought that was something considering I understand that they are there to make a living. One even had For Liberty DVDs for free. I believe they are called PK Firearms and they're actually from Illinois. I didn't get a chance to talk to them but I will definitely give them my business.

Awesome story! Truly is and it was fun to read.

This weekend I went on a retreat with a christian club at my university. They had a talent show and one of the performers on stage dedicated his song to Ron Paul and then a couple of us in the crowd shouted back Ron Paul. I cracked up. It was awesome.

Also, about a month ago I was having a random conversation with someone after a club meeting. A black girl bumped into our conversation and she was holding a book in her arm, I assumed it was a bible or some religious book. It turns out that the book wasn't a bible at all, but "Liberty Defined" by Ron Paul. I was stunned. They were both really big Ron Paul fans and we ended up talking about him for the next hour. I've been in the club for a couple years now and there are quite a few Ron Paul supporters I've met at random.

I've also seen Ron Paul stickers on the back of stop signs and poles around campus.
