Rand is not doing nearly as well as Ron did, because he has sucked up to the establishment.. The Congress has a 16% approval rating.. It was far higher ran Ron was bucking their bullchit and doing very well. If Congress has a 16% approval rating, why not go for the other 84% ?

Rand kissed McConnell's ass. The more I think about it, I can't say how I truly feel. But Rand lost his position as the candidate most likely to win, by kissing asses of those with 16% approval ratings. Trumpchit going the same way, as he kisses arse of Bolton, of all people... The salvation of this nation is Bolton???

I'm sick about Rand. If truth be known, I never had the "tingle up my leg" with Rand, as I did for his father. My gut says he's lost this, and doesn't care.. He didn't want it anyway. He never had the zeal his father had. He comes across as a spoiled, rotten, little brat. And I'm a supporter, can you imagine what a non supporter feels?

He listened to the Jesse Benton's of the world and pissed on his father's grassroots supporters. Now the chickens are coming home to roost. I just hope his poor strategy doesn't cost him the republican presidential nomination AND his Senate seat.

I think it was a mistake to jump out of the starting gate at Trump. Only because Trump was so far ahead in the polls. Like him or hate him, he epitomizes the public's rejection of Congress and the Establishment. Trump and Sanders speak to the people for better or worse, that's what people are responding to right now. Rand needs to find a way to connect with the public at large and speak to them, not at them. They are responding to Trump's stance on issues even though they are empty promises. Taking Trump head on means dealing with a loud, vindictive person who will then target you and his supporters will come after you too. Could've been handled more strategically.

If polls won nominations, we would have a President Giuliani, a President Gingrich, or a President Bachmann. The polls right before the Iowa Caucus are the ones to look at, so don't be to disappointed when you see where Trump is polling then.

mitch has backed him running for prez and senator at the same time. until that is finalized, he absolutely cannot attack him.

in fact, i would bet money that the only reason Rand backed Mitch last time was to get his help knowing that the dual position running he would benefit from Mitch's help on that.
