What the hell is he doing? We're finally on the verge of getting real spending cuts and here he is partnering with Democrats to sabotage the government and squander the opportunity. He wants to cut spending more? Fine... but does he think this helps him in any way with his own party. Senators that would never cut a penny before, were able to vote yes on this strategy... TAKE THE WIN RAND! Nope, instead he continues to whine and complain and accomplish nothing.

What vote are you referring to?
He's talking about a symbolic bill that doesn't do anything, but called for a policy that is likely to increase the debt by four or five trillion.

And, knowing that inflation is tax, Rand Paul opposed it.

Don't blame me for the fakenews link. It's not mine, it's Swordsmyth's. I'm just too lazy to go find a better source talking about this nothing burger.

The Senate package also would bolster border security funds by some $175 billion to carry out Trump’s mass deportation campaign, which is running short of cash, and it would add national security funds for the Pentagon. What's unclear is how it will all be paid for.

I'm also against mass deportation without Due Process, as well as bolstering "national security" for the Pentagon. Sounds exactly like another "Bait and Switch" to grow the Federal government and its powers.

When will people ever learn.
