Let's just be ready to support the campaign in any way (that is normal and reasonable) when they make their next move in this regard. Don't fold but ante up like a true Patriot when you're needed most. We need libertarians, ancaps, paleos and every other reasonable person to stand for liberty and what is right.
I think we're just at a philosophical impasse... I do not believe an attack on a political figure to be a legitimate crime, and certainly not one that FBN is guilty of (though they are certainly scum). Rand needs to decide what is best for him and what is best for his campaign, but I don't believe he would want to use the Orwellian reach of the law in order to do so. A vitriolic outcry from the grassroots would be much more empowering.

Actually, I was just making the case that Facebook should take down the Fox Business page cuz they violated the Community Standards.
Maybe this is when Rand should drop the nuke aka Ron Paul joining him on the campaign trail in a Iowa/NH rally.
Hey funny how they add this debate right before Iowa....then make sure he is not in it.....NOTHING happens by accident in politics.
To be fair, it's not like they had control of the polls, and we KNEW the criteria for Rand to make it in the debate. While it IS total BS that Rand is not in the debate, it's not like they intentionally did this to only kick Rand out. They would have no way of knowing what the polls were going to do

Yeah, I don't know that it was intentional to target Rand... I think they just wanted to limit it overall. But since it wasn't known exactly which polls would count and which wouldn't ahead of time they leave themselves open to looking like they can pick and choose based on results.
And there is still one more debate on the 28th in Des Moines - the most important of the campaign - so Rand still has the opportunity to be in that and have an impact just days before the caucus.
Are you for real.....they COMPLETELY control the polls from start to finish which is why the younger generation is excluded from GOP polls. Look at Bernie...his poll numbers should be similar to Rands just due to the number of individual donors. Maybe not as high as Sanders due to a larger field but manipulating the polls is very very likely and not difficult as there is no real way to verify. Plus GOP polls are often biased in the way they are conducted. It has always been fixed but I hope that more and more people will see though it. Then if they do see through the scam, then we have to worry about who is counting the votes. To be fair, it's not like they had control of the polls, and we KNEW the criteria for Rand to make it in the debate. Yes.
And they are still assholes. They should have included Rand, because of the margin of error in the polls. Margin of error should have been a factor
Pollsters: Don't trust us to winnow GOP field
Pollsters surveyed by POLITICO have a unanimous warning for the Republican National Committee and the TV networks who are using public-opinion surveys to exclude presidential candidates from debates: Don’t trust polls to detect often-tiny grades of opinion in a giant field.
Indeed, the unprecedented reliance on polls to winnow the Republican field is coming at a time when many pollsters feel they’re blinder than ever to trends in public thinking — and that using polls to keep out candidates who are otherwise well qualified could seriously alter the race.
