I am overwhelmed with grief and despair that anyone would consider another Bush for president.

I think these people don't exist. I think the pollsters are being paid by the Bush's to keep reporting this shit.

It won't last. Most Republican voters don't even know that Trump has donated money to liberal Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer.

Exactly just wait until the Bush/republican machine starts blasting him for his past support of democrats. I honestly see Trump being in the race as a good thing for Rand. As soon as he's considered a threat to Bush bombs are going to be launched at him to take him down and what do you think Trump is going to do? Launch back in a spectacular fashion. While these two groups go at it Rand needs to do whatever he can to become the top non-establishment candidate. By the time those two are done with each other their negatives will be sky high. With so many candidates and money involved I'd very seriously be counting on a brokered convention and with Rand's grassroots he could very well come in first or second in that race. By that time if tempers flare hot enough between each others supporters Rand could very well be seen as the only alternative. I just hope the Paul supporters have learned not to piss off..supporters of other candidates. I really like the position Rand is in right now, with Trump in the race it's Trump not Rand that is taking all the heat. Hopefully this provides Rand enough cover to deploy all the tactics he's playing on using without being bombed every move he makes.

I think a lot of Republicans are tired of candidates that play nice, kiss media ass, and say what the elite want you to say. That is why Trump is doing so well despite being a part of the elite and being more liberal than most who support him.

If Rand had more moments like the one where he basically called out the interviewer about the games being played (the abortion question), he would see his numbers rise quite a bit.

I agree. It seems that people are very sick of scripted, plastic politicians. Likely one reason why Bernie is doing so well against Hillary.

Glad to see Rand in a second place tie. I do think The Donald is going to fade eventually.

Biggest surprise for me is to see how poorly Cruz is doing. I mean Mike Huckabee is polling a lot better than he is.

The YouGov poll consists of opt-in internet participants. Although they are then filtered according to previous election criteria to factor in multiple factors....it's still an online opt-in poll.

Not that I don't want Rand to be in first or second, but I always thought these were deemed dubious and unreliable.

Rand in 1st/2nd nationally in unlikely until the debates are well underway beginning next(!!!) month. OMG CAN'T WAIT
