Rand Paul: Yeah, I Guess I'd Support Trump As The Nominee

It's a non-issue with most of the Rand supporters.

Evidently. Unfortunate, yet unsurprising. It explains a lot, actually, though it isn't at all a flattering commentary.

Partisanship > principles.

I'm not really sure what's worse. That he ever agreed to endorse Trump, or that so many of you are apologizing and making excuses for him.

Rand could hardly have worded this more unenthusiastically. I don't see why anyone would blow a gasket over it.

It's a thrill to finally have a chance to speak with Lew Rockwell's rectum. Tell me, how is all that pickled tofu been treating you lately?

Well, so long as he's not totally enthusiastic about it, that's what matters.

What do you think matters about it?

Were you hoping Rand would run against him as an Independent or something?

I'm glad to see that Robrank has been disciplined for his inane and borderline abusive comments.

but either way the extremely bad posts should not be tolerated on this forum.

Endorsements don't matter? They don't speak to character, conscience, priorities, or principles? I think they do.

I was simply hoping Rand wouldn't endorse someone with an obviously terrible political platform that has no allegiance with liberty, regardless of anything else. Perhaps my expectations are too demanding of Rand.

Donald would be a disaster but the other democratic bitch would be even worse is what it comes down to.

Add "women" to this list and she gets to sit in the big chair.

This is news to you?

What character, conscience, priorities, and principles do you see in Rand's words here? Do you think there has to be any more to it than just exactly what he said?

So you would have him go back on his word? And somehow that would be better? What kind of bullshit is that?

Ironically, I'm not as upset over this as I was about the Romney endorsement. I see the logic here. But I don't for one minute believe that Trump would endorse Rand should the tables be turned. Trump is a snake.

And the same day he's circulating a petition to NOT support the nominee. This is this kind of thing that has really hurt his campaign. He can't always play every side and try to appeal to everyone. Pick one thing and stick to it!

Just did a search on "sign rands petition" and the only thread that comes up is this one.

Maybe you can bump it so it comes up on the new posts list.
