Rand Paul Won Among Kentucky Presidential Donors

You don't say....Rand has lot's of support in KY?! What a shocker. Tell that to the people here who says it was "honorable" for him to drop so he can protect his damn Senate seat. In FUCKING KENTUCKY!!! What a joke. We were promised a 50 state campaign, that why I gave him my money and time, and he drops after 1 state. WHAT A PUSSY. Ron has some balls, the message is what is important, even if he didn't win the POTUS horse race. Total scared coward move by Rand to drop, I am honestly depressed over this.

Can't wait to watch him endorse Rubio!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Liberty, yea!!!

Ron had a lot more $$ support. How far was Rand supposed to go on a shoestring? Dragging this out would have been a much bigger waste of our money. The Ron Paul Revolution had a schism and that schism's name is Trump. Which tells me that purity was the issue.
He made the right decision.

Rand was banking on beating expectations in Iowa but it didn't happen at all. He could have hung around but how would he pay his staff? Where would additional fundraising come from? Even if he made the debate, they obviously haven't helped Rand at all no matter how well he does. He probably felt it wouldn't be right to string his staff and supporters along.

Rand is not and will not run an education campaign. He has stated in the past that he has always had a fascination with politics, and if you watch him he seems to think and act more like a campaign staffer--planning the next move, calculating the message.

Campaigning is not only exhausting work, it's miserable to people who aren't super extroverted and willing to suck-it-up to sell people on your snake-oil pitch.

I think Rand looked at it, had a game plan, it completely flopped in Iowa based in a variety of environmental factors, and he decided he didn't see a strong path to the nomination. Why push it on, waste people's time and resources when he so clearly is not being wanted by 2016s GOP party? Good for him.

Yeah, he can't run TV ads in SC and NV, much less the March 1 primaries on this:

Top 3 in Iowa would have changed that. Most of his core small donors are tapped out, to get that $10M+ haul, you have to bring in new donors. Or hit up the Trump.
