Need to now identify top priorities for us to focus on.

some Initial thoughts:

--September MoneyBombs (are they now slated for Sept. 7, or Sept. 17, or both, or one 11-day drive?)

--Organize Debate Watch parties for Sept. 16 CNN debate

--Make sure we now work to make sure Rand makes it into the top-tier group of above debate

We are still going full on with the September 17th, Constitution Day Money Bomb.

Anyone that wants to help please join us in this thread:

My last post in there compiles all the graphics, Tweets and Facbook posts to date so even if you only have a minute you can help by just going down the line and sharing them.

The vote needed two thirds to pass. I didn't know that until today.

I was never that concerned. It's Rand's home state. He must have been confident enough or he would not have launched his presidential campaign. Hopefully this will get him a little positive free press.

And too many of you listen to some chick called Rachel. :p

I guess the Trumpers weren't able to get their way. Take that Trumpers, trying to push Rand to quit months from the first caucus.

Saturday’s vote passed 111-36, avoiding a potential embarrassment to Paul’s presidential campaign

Paul, who told callers he was under the weather, called in with nearly 350 members of the Republican Party of Kentucky's state central committee...

I think the Republican Party of Kentucky should be embarrassed.

42% is a terrible turnout for something of this magnitude.
What a sad time we find ourselves in.

Probably people who wanted it to pass, and knew it would, so didn't bother showing up: nothing too unusual in that.

Liberals/progressives are losing their minds on Twitter & around the Bluegrass state. Allison Grimes is accusing Rand of buying an election.
Kind of fun, actually, watching the melt down.

A lot of big donors especially may have been holding off until this was settled.

Yep, there was a tentativeness before - and this was the reason.
Would Rand have to pull out before the GOP Presidential Convention or not ? Answer now is NO !

All the early delegates are just the start - every hard earned vote in NH primary,
and every dedicated caucus goer who starts by being a delegate out of his or her precinct
in any of the caucus states - Iowa, Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky etc.
are gonna stay in Rand column through the first vote on the GOP Convention floor.

Tip of the Belgian Ale "Shock Top" to ya'all tonight in the great state of Kentucky

Kentucky GOP membership smart enough to not vote if they have no opinion either way and so they don't bother to vote, so what ?

Gee, they may like both Senators McConnell and Rand for all I know - and not voting was the best option overall.

This does not surprise me...primary turn out is typically about 25% and the Whigs/GOP have been pretty useless since Jackson.

It's kinda weird how someone in favor of Term Limits would fight a law like this.

Even if he weren't a senator a caucus would be favorable for him to win the nomination. They probably wouldn't of even changed to a caucus if Paul wasn't footing the bill. He wouldn't have any "reason" to foot the bill to make it a caucus, if he weren't running for re-election as a senator.

This must have been what they've been after the last couple months, creating the false narrative that Rand's campaign was falling apart and his presidential aspirations were drying up. They wanted to change perceptions about his electability in an attempt to drive down his poll numbers so that Kentuckians would second guess their stance on this particular vote. If the media got their way, either Rand would be out of the presidential race, or he would be finished as a senator. Their plan has now failed. I bet they're raging right about now.

Tweets! (or they didn't happen) ;)

Technically the term limit suggestions are usually 2 terms. This would be his second.

Hah....the GOP of Kentucky has always been embarrassing. But lately some of them have been calling themselves "Rand Paul Republicans".
