Rand will have a statement soon.

Congrats!

Okay deep breath... Lets get back to winning this race. Rand is here to stay. Not only that but the caucus should be early march ( i think the 5th?) which is actually useful. We will get some delegates from that for sure

Is this the moment that Rand makes a comeback? Seems like this has lit a fire in the grassroots.

Facebook is lighting up over this.. I think many of the grassroots (not me because I know Rand is in decent shape despite of the recent coverage) needed some good news. This is great news. I think people are going to get the itch to get back into the fight after this decision.

+1

Need to now identify top priorities for us to focus on.

some Initial thoughts:

--September MoneyBombs (are they now slated for Sept. 7, or Sept. 17, or both, or one 11-day drive?)

--Organize Debate Watch parties for Sept. 16 CNN debate

--Make sure we now work to make sure Rand makes it into the top-tier group of above debate

Glad to hear it and I like the idea of a flash money bomb or something, unfortunately I won't be able to participate in that. Currently unemployed but just recently got a request for an interview and if I get the job I will certainly be setting some money aside to send Rand's way.

Really like Vince harris's take on this.. People have no idea how much organization we have. Maddow predicting Rand leaving the race shows how clueless they are. Let's get that reaction in Iowa too.

Rand's statement:
I applaud the Republican Party of Kentucky on their decision to hold a caucus in the upcoming Republican presidential cycle. The people of Kentucky deserve a voice as the GOP chooses their next nominee, and holding a caucus will ensure that Kentucky is relevant and participates early in the process. I am also grateful for the Republican Party's trust in me, allowing me to run for re-election to the U.S. Senate and seek the nomination for the Presidency of the United States!
