Rand Paul will participate in August 3rd Voters First Forum in NH - 6:30 pm ET on C-SPAN

Christi. War on pot smokers. War in the Middle East. War Monger.

Jack Heath to Christi, Why are you running? Good question.

I don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but I thought rand arguably had one of the worst of the bunch. Rambled, repeated, managed to both sound scripted and scattered and unpolished.

He'll do better when he can be in person and respond to criticism with some teeth!

That's funny. I thought it was completely opposite. Rand was spot on and most of the others were scattered.

Pataki. Stirring the emotions of 9/11. Blaming 9/11 on ISIS? How about declassifying the 28 pages as a start of being honest about 9/11.

i smell a TEA-O-CON...

Kasich: . . . expand legal immigration . . .

wtf is he talking 'bout with 'dat - there is only one nation above the 7% legal immigration allowed from any one nation - that is USA immigration policy now -
even India and China are at 5% and other Latino nations like Guatemala and Dominican Republic were at 2% - from 2013 figures of over 41 million immigrants.

Why would anyone want to increase immigration - From Mexico it is already at a whopping 28 % in 2013!
Kasich = dumb and dumber

LOL.

Moderator to Jeb: I don't agree with my sister, do you always agree with your brother? SOFTBALL.

My take --
"Winners": Kasich, Fiorina, Rand, Jindal, Carson
"Losers": Santorum, Perry, Christie, Cruz, Rubio, Walker, Graham, Pataki, Bush

Most of this is based on that I felt the candidates on top were able to sufficiently distinguish themselves from the rest of the field, either because of their delivery or their message. Listening to the others it was hard to tell them apart.

Although this particular forum will have little to zero actual impact on the vote

Bush. His brother W said we needed school choice too then did everything he could to increase funding for public schools and beat down school choice and home schooling.
No thanks to another Bush in government.

Jeb Bush being asked about common core; says federal government should have no role in standards.

[insert fish flopping GIF]

to be fair...he is doing more campaigning and more senate work than any of the other candidates.

Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio as of Monday had missed the most, 72 out of 249, or 29 percent, while Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul had missed just three, according to the website GovTrack.us.“Sen. Rand Paul never stops fighting for the people of Kentucky,” campaign Communications Director Sergio Gor told FoxNews.com. “He takes his job immensely seriously. And unlike other candidates, he has missed only 1 percent of all votes.”

thats IMPRESSIVE...and it means he's going to be tired and have occasional moments like tonight.

That lap band surgery is pretty dangerous and many people get complications from it

I thought that made you lose weight? It looks like it didn't work for him.

How did you see Kasich doing that?
