Dr. Rand Paul, son of former Presidential Candidate Congressman Ron Paul, will be in New York on Wednesday, August 5th 7-9 PM @ Webster Hall to make a MAJOR announcement regarding the Kentucky 2010 Senate Race.

Afterward, The NYC Campaign for Liberty will be throwing a Fundraiser in Dr. Rand Paul's honor with a personal meet & greet with Rand in person.

There will be a 3-tier donation system as follows;
$25 for "Friends of Rand Paul"
$50 for "Patron's of Rand Paul"
$100 for "Benefactors of Rand Paul"

Benefactors will receive a Constitution Autographed by both Dr. Rand & Dr. Ron Paul, as well as an individual photo with Rand.

i went to Webster Hall in early '90s and it was kind of like being in the bar scene in Star Wars - very interesting place (w/a $25 weekend cover charge in '94)

Webster Hall is a nightclub in New York City. It is located at 125 East 11th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. I realize this is a fundraiser for Rand, but if he plans on announcing here I think it's a bad idea. If he runs for Senate in KY he should probably announce somewhere in KY.

FTR I'm not sure if he's announcing, but there's some speculation he's going to announce the fifth, and the OP says it's a MAJOR announcement.
