I try my best to wake everyone up when I can, especially the hispanic community.

Unfortunately, here in Miami, you have to chose from two false paradigms.

Most Hispanics in my area are Republicans (at least the Cuban and Venezuelans), but haven't woken up to the lies of the Neo-Conservatives and their flagrant foreign policy positions.

Their heart is in the right place, but don't know that the establishment is more of the same garbage.

The other brand of Hispanics here in SoFlo are Puerto Rican, South and Central Americans who have leftist sympathies.

They think Obama will bring peace and freedom from Corporatism, yet do not realize Obama's ties to the corrupt Corporate-Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex.

I do my best to educate both, whenever I get the chance. Both brands of voters have fallen prey to the two false paradigms.

It IS true that flippant comparisons to slavery strikes a nerve with blacks, for the same reason flippant comparisons to Nazis and the Holocaust is obnoxious to Jews.

And if you think black slavery in America ended in 1865, you're dead wrong. There are living people- and many more whose parents and grandparents- lived under effective slavery through the 1930s. Libertarians really should be aware of the deprivation of liberty blacks suffered in America.
