Minimal trade that doesn't create dependency unless we have no other option for a necessity.
So how much trade is "minimal trade?"

I gave you links to the fact that the latest and greatest chips require rare earth minerals that are currently not in abundance in the U.S. Apparently you didn't click the lins. This has nothing to do with what America and or can't do but what America does and does not have. That said, the Congo would probably be better off without the strip mining that's going on to provide these rare earth minerals so go ahead and starve Timmy.

My main take-away from that video is that the New York Times was globalist propaganda even back in the 1890's![]()
Which everyone should already know.
New York was the world headquarters of International (globalist) Communism.
I'm not even close to an economist, so I concede I may be missing something; however, I don't really see how tariffs are bad. Michigan Industrial Tools are mass produced overseas, then shipped to the USA. Under tariff's their prices could soar. As a consumer, I may have brand loyalty, but only to a certain price point. I would then say, to heck with this, I will go get some Dewalt or Craftsman tools, made in the USA, not subject to tariffs. Eventually, Michigan Industrial Tools would most probably decide increased production costs of moving to the US might be a better option than the imposed tariffs. Wouldn't this create more industrial jobs, and create more commercial real estate customers in the long run?
No, free trade does.
distorting everything that Mises, Ron Paul and this site represents.
That's what you and the others do.
You promote globalism and oppose all efforts to fight it.
I'll just call you out right here for being part of the QAnon, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk Network for distorting everything that Mises, Ron Paul and this site represents.
Now I know why you stay away from Whitney Webb, Corbett and Catherine Fitts - they do the real digging and ask/answer the right questions, unlike your guy Tucker who is part of that Theil/Musk Network.
