Periscope is more low budget, for the average Joe or small operator to put something up fast remotely and works best with cell phones. Not the best choice for this.

He was at Twitter HQ...more press worthy. His clips will get fed out to YouTube. This was a smart move and I noted some Gary Johnson and Bernie followers being very well behaved.

That is the problem CaptUSA, no one will tell the campaign how it is and this is what we end up getting. People are donating money and expect better from a top tier campaign. There was no excuse for this other than they are trying to save money and this is not something you skimp on. It makes it look like they are milking donations for an educational campaign rather than to win.

Someone said their web guy was overseas. Why the hell is he overseas at crunch time like this. Missing the undercard exposure and then doing childish Periscope, that is supposed to be okay??? Jesus Christ, I missed almost the entire live stream because I had no idea what link to watch. I guess i"m too old but they definitely lost a very large audience by going with periscope.

I don't think anyone realized this was going on periscope and there were no instructions to prepare on watching the debate properly.

I don't know, poor handling, unless they didn't want the mass audience and just wanted to impress younger voters.

I'm 28, I don't know if that's considered a young voter or not, but I feel the same way if not more so than you.
It was supposed to be idiot proof... get on his site and watch.

I was determined to watch what I could. If I wasn't I would have given up without having seen a second of it.

They should do this again. Put him behind a desk so he looks less awkward, have the people reading the tweets in the shot, have an interviewer ask some follow up questions during the silence, guest appearances from students for Rand and other operations, have short breaks for bathroom visits and prep but play some prepared video during that time instead of turning the feed off, drink a cup of tea during the broadcast to help with his voice and to help him look confident, casual and relaxed.

You can even have guests on from other locations.
Like amash ... send someone out to him and get him in from another location. Get Massie on there and anyone else willing or at least have them come on the phone.

I know none of the above is easy but this is crunch time.
