We have MSM following Media Matters lead. This is highly amusing to watch.

Paul raised the specter of big government and "martial law" when talking about vaccines during an August 21, 2009 interview for The Alex Jones Show, as Media Matters Action Network reported in 2010. He said that "the first sort of thing you see with martial law is mandates. And they're talking about making it mandatory. I worry because the last flu vaccine we had in the 1970s, more people died from the vaccine than died from the swine flu."

Jones and his Infowars website are anti-science and extremely inflammatory when it comes to pushing false information about vaccines. The website features headlines such as "AUTISM EXPLODES AS CHILDHOOD VACCINES INCREASE," "VACCINE DEATHS AND INJURIES SKYROCKET AS COVER-UP IMPLODES," and "VOLUMINOUS RESEARCH PROVES VACCINES ARE DEADLY."

LOL! George Soros funded media matters...shocking, I tell you, shocking!

“If you're not catching flak you're not over the target”

Hillary Clinton's Media Matters as well.

David Brock, you sly dog! Rand Paul tied to serial woman hater Alex Jones!!!

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2015/02/04/alex-jones-defends-listener-rand-paul-on-vaccin/202411

Alex Jones defended ally and "listener" Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) from media attacks over his controversial vaccination remarks by lashing out at a CNBC anchor who challenged Paul. Jones, who helped Paul get elected to the Senate in 2010, called CNBC's Kelly Evans a "whore" and "pimp" for "signing on to a system of murder, you little piece of trash, tramp, filth, scum woman!"

Do the liberals and the neocons really want to make Alex Jones famous? Do they realize they're going to make him a household name? I'm not sure that will work to their benefit. :)

I don't think they care at this point. They can't help themselves. The nonsense has worked for a LONG LONG TIME.

Such hysteria!

This is the only place he seems to...mandatory-vaccines-first-step-to-martial-law/
Are you kidding? Maybe it seems that way with that single story, but did you see the rest of breitbarts stories on this - yesterday and today?

They're using the same meme, implying he's against vaccines and claiming that he's accepted random stories as scientific evidence!
The bulk of his comments on vaccines was about how great they are, but when he acknowledges that some people hold unpopular viewpoints regarding vaccines - they view that as being in complete agreement!

Some people just can't grasp the concept of freedom!

Perhaps this wouldn't be the wisest move from the point of view of political strategy, but I would sure be pleased if Rand would find a way to express his absolute bottomless contempt and boredom with these kinds of smear attempts. In other words, no defensiveness, no anger, no agitation, no argument, no counterattack, just....

I was referring to the comments. 85% support Rand.

Of course, the only reason the apologists-for-tyrants tie him to that stuff is because they can't tie him to a moving train.

Rand is squeeky clean, just like his dad, so this is all they have. Twist, spin, and set up with gotcha questions. In the end, it's giving Rand a shit ton of name recognition that he otherwise wouldn't have and only seems to be whipping up the dems that likely wouldn't vote for him any way. I think it helps Rand with rank-and-file GOP types. A good way to capitalize on this is for Rand supporters to put up "mostly voluntary vaccine" planks during the upcoming 2015 GOP conventions.

I don't recall Rand making these comments which he very well could have, but I do remember Ron making these entirely. It was when the new "swine" pig flu virus was going around back then with all the hype and Ron quickly reminded everyone the last time this happened the vaccine killed more people than the virus itself. I see Ron as being more anti vaccine, where as Rand is more pro choice on the subject. Which brings me to the point, why in the hell attack Rand so bad for this when he himself stated all of his children are vaccinated and he considers then a great medical achievement? Hmm, anyone noticed the hit pieces/attacks have gotten much more severe since Bush stepped in? Make no mistake there is a correlation. Not to say they wouldn't do their best to prevent Rand from being president anyway, but.. Keep in mind that the Bush's have a "patent" so to speak on the word "integrity." I know, I thought that word meant something else to. At any rate you watch, the Bush machine will use that word so many times that not only does no one else come close to the amount of integrity that Bush has, but also fuck the issues (pardon my French) this one word will be the sole reason as to why this man HAS to be elected.

Any buzz words we can stake for Rand that (truly) define him? Sorry, integrity is already taken. It'll be said that Jeb has more integrity in his fingernail than Rand does in his whole body...including his hair..

You do remember JournoList, yes? Later named CabaList? It's still alive and well, they just change the name every couple years and start over.

These media hit pieces are fully coordinated against those that the J-list types deem dangerous to their agenda.
