"Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has yet to endorse a candidate in the Tennessee primary, but incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander has already recruited him for an event in his state. The two senators will host a healthcare roundtable discussion in Nashville on June 30 with Tennessee healthcare executives and professionals to discuss the effects of Obamacare.

Have you seen Lamar Alexander? He's 50 pounds heavier than when he was sworn in as governor.

lamar is awful.

Nu uh. He's one of us. He's on the TEAM. He needs to be re-elected. Like McConnell. Graham. Cochran. McCain. And all the other lovely incumbents that haven't done a load of crap for this country, other than sell it down the river, while making MILLIONS doing so.

That was a long time ago. Don't get me wrong. I agree that he is one of the ten worst Republicans in the US Senate. He is very statist and especially loves income and sales taxes. In fact, that's kinda his niche, increasing taxes and all. Nevertheless, he is a Republican and while he hates liberty, he isn't the absolutely worst person in Congress.
