I was wondering too, heard the interview live and they said they'd get back to him but did not to my knowledge.
A gas station not safe at all, maybe a cooler but still wondering, seemed to be very close and ominous.

The problem is that these storms were so early in the season that no one was paying attention or expecting them. The good news is that people will be taking the tornado warnings VERY seriously for the rest of the season because of this.

Not true here in Indiana. They warned us a full day ahead that the storms moving in had potential to be devastating. I intentionally got all my errands run early yesterday and was home (with basement) by 10am because they said the storms would start around then. Employers (and some schools) released people early. Evening stuff was canceled. The bad storms rolled in around 3pm and didn't fully leave the area til 4:30. My family shacked up in the basement that entire time.

I think they are getting really good at predicting and that's why Henryville only has 1 confirmed death. Considering the damage - I call that amazing.

Naw, the problem with earthquakes is they are unpredictable and you never know when one is gonna hit. Same problem with tornadoes but to a lesser degree.
For pure awesomeness, consumerism and news sensationalism you want to live in the hurricane prone areas. You get days to weeks to watch and wait...its great.
