If the comments are any indication, I'd say no.

Schizophrenic positions are rampant in the conspiracy-laden world where Mr. Jones resides. He's helpful and hurtful to the cause of liberty at the same time.

Too bad his producers couldn't create an "Alex Jones filter" so that we'd only get the useful part.

Wow Alex, getting a little passive-aggressive, are we?

Rand was feeling the heat from supporters so now he's grabbed that shifter and jammed that top loader 4 speed into reverse...

hmmm...?

LOL.. rand has been speaking out against obamacare since day one. **smh**

Not really. He endorsed the 'father' of obamacare. Or did he change his mind on that?...so which is it?...can't have it both ways, or can he?...

so other than ron who is retiring, which congressman or senator would you pick over rand? who is our champion of liberty now?

No need to continue to beat this dead horse. Rand supports the liberty movement on nearly all fronts.

Still, some people are not pleased with his choice of tactics. Understandable.

I'm not always pleased with Alex Jones' choice of tactics, but I'm still glad he's on our side.

There's no need to divide a movement over this.

There are a handful of things to fault Rand for--endorsing Romney after Romney 'technically' got the delegates to be the nominee is not one of them. I wish the criticism of this would just stop, its a non-issue that is unnecessarily divisive. Unless you've got a better plan, I'd say we stick together, recognize that nobody is perfect, but if the core-tenets of why they were elected stand then whats the point of shooting yourself in the foot?

I didn't donate to Rand's campaign to get Ron elected. I donated to see him bring intelligent conversation to the Senate floor, to debate the Patriot Act, the TSA, and further attempts at power grabs at the Federal level. He's a beacon of hope for this movement. And he's not even my preferred choice for 2016.

He also said in that endorsement that he felt that Romney would be better on foreign policy, but later slammed him for saying that a president can declare war without congress...

IMO, Rand's endorsement only opens the door to criticize Romney when he doesn't live up to the things Rand said he was endorsing him for.... I can asure you that Obamacare is another one of these issues that Rand will attack Romney just the same about if he doesn't stand with the folks working to repeal it.

Hopefully, Rands confusing endorsement doesn't come back and bite him, but as we all know, politics is such a clean sport eh?...lol

Yes, politics is dirty, and he said himself that this was exactly why he wasn't going to give the old guard an easy opportunity to trash him as a "fake republican" like they did to outcast his dad. So if they want to trash Rand, they're going to have to go after the issues that most can see he's right about, and not with easy superficial attacks like they would have done here.

It only stands to hurt him if liberty folks continue to refuse to even give him the benefit of the doubt until we see how this all shakes out... A knee-jerk reaction is completely unnecessary, when Rand's actions over the next few years will give us a much better indication on how much he fights for our issues.

Rand Is Ron Paul with political, communication, and leadership skills. We should be thrilled to have him take Ron's place. He actually has a real chance to be President. It frustrates me that people don't see this.

Some in our realm are very fragile and the second one of our pols breathes wrong, all hell breaks loose in their minds. Similarly, I'm not interested with the conspiracy theory crowd because mostly it projects defeatist attitudes and extreme paranoia which rejects trust in any fashion except their own mouthpiece. So, categorize me in the Rand camp until further notice.

Yeah I was just going to say, "Doesn't Alex Jones hate Rand Paul now." My, my.

If the comments are any indication, I'd say no.

Good catch. Some folks are calling Alex Jones "controlled opposition" for "covering for Rand" just like others called Alex Jones "controlled opposition" for "attacking Rand". And this may give a window into Alex Jones' world. Something to consider. Infowars taking Rand to task had the dual effect of "channeling" anger toward Rand into one particular vector and then "squelching" dissent against Rand in the minds of those who don't like Alex Jones. Well played indeed.
