Chris wasn't always fair to Ron in the beginning, but he certainly has opened up to the Paul family since his second campaign.

Rand always has an open forum on Hardball, and seeing his appearances almost makes me like Chris Matthews.

I think Chris is tired of the wars and is not stupid, it really seems to match his rhetoric at least. Anyone who is tired of the wars and has any idea of whats going on in election politics knows that Rand is our only shot.

Yes Matthews is big on non intervention. "You can't kill all the terrorists but you can kill the reason they want to become terrorists".

Since Chris Matthews is usually critical of U.S. foreign interventions, he has always had some level of respect and admiration for Ron and Rand Paul's foreign policy positions.
