Exactly, going on Beck even it was actually Beck would in NOWAY hurt Rand. Rand is so polished and I do believe Glen actually likes Rand. We need appearances like this to actually put the nail in the coffin.

While it's certainly true that I don't think Rand Paul would flub a 9/11 question from Beck at all, much less nearly as epicly as Medina did, the fact that he'd even be asked such a silly question in the first place would probably make voters wonder why it was asked to Paul and why it wouldn't be asked to Grayson.

But really: 9/11? Why not just ask about the Kennedy assassination while they're at it?

Beck is an establishment lapdog propped up to derail any and all "Tea Party"/"R3volution" candidates. It amazes me how ppl are willing to give Beck the benefit of the doubt OVER and OVER even after he's gone after both Ron Paul and Medina, and very well may have destroyed Medina's campaign by himself. It's like Stockholm Syndrome around here sometimes when it comes to Glenn Beck and I don't get it.

He's a comedian, a shock-jock, and a commentator. I don't expect him to be consistent through time. I expect our candidates to use their God given intelligence, and to answer absolute softball questions like the "ambush" question you describe with a home-run. Medina killed herself, that's all there is to it. I love her, donated to her, and agree with her, and no, 9-11 had nothing to do with Texas politics or policies, aside from showing her fitness to be governor.
