Maybe that is the point.There have been rumors of a black president over history(Colin Powell in 1996), but only Obama became the first president. Guess why? Was it becuase of white guilt or was it because he potray himself as a member of his own collective community.

These snapchat ads -- like the twitter ads targeting reporters -- are probably intended to generate buzz and create news stories like this one as much as they are intended to actually influence voters.
