Rand Paul launches MORE commercials in response to Grayson's lies

"The answer to combating a giant baby-man-child: Raise a million dollars!!!"

Did I sum that up pretty well?

Mocking Trey won't prevent these negative attacks, and won't blunt their force. Trey has won twice state-wide before, so we need to be vigilant in our responses to him. We have not yet won.

In a nut-shell, yes, we can put Rand in a much stronger position by raising him another million dollars.

No I wasn't insulted, but that is only because I know I'm not apart of the target audience.

And that is why the ad is perfect ... it appeals to the ignorant masses!
The sheep aren't that smart ... and they think and vote with their emotions and 30 second commercials. They are too lazy to do the research and will believe what the TV tells them.

Idiocracy quote:
Joe: I'm pretty sure what's killing the crops is this Brawndo stuff.
Secretary of State: But Brawndo's got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes.

That entire commercial was just pulling at peoples emotions, it wasn't about issues. Hes not going to be helping babies with a light shining down on him from the heavens while he is a Senator.

It's an election, he is not known to the public, it's a bio ad which appeals to pro-life issues. Nothing wrong with mixing it a bit. While Trayson tries to paint him as pro-choice, he comes out with this just showing how close to the issue of life he is.

Hell, Rand should just take his dad's old ads, mess with the audio and video a bit, and viola! Sail to victory.

Rand Paul, 2010

He's catchin' on, I'm tellin' ya.

Why would Rand want to spend one dime appealing to you in a political ad? You don't need political ads. You're already politicized.

Just because we are so focused on politics that we don't need a commercial telling us Rand is the doctor, not the insider, and that he cares, and all the other points he's making, does not automatically make everyone else (who might have other equally important things to do) ignorant.

If everyone were as political, as focused as most of us on RPF, who would be building the bridges? Who would be making the cool video games? Who would be the stand up comedians?

This world would be boring as hell. I think the main idea of having representatives is so we don't all have to be political insiders, using all our free time in the subject.

Certainly people should become moderately informed, and seek information, not just let it fall in their lap. But if you've got your church, and you've already got your choir, who do you preach to?

Please don't make comments mocking the very voters Rand needs. While I in general reject the idea that forum comments matter in a campaign, this is the exact type of comment that could. Imagine it appearing in a Grayson attack ad.

Lastly, with Trey running tv ads directing voters to a Rand attack website, hoping the voters are "too lazy to do the research" is not a viable campaign strategy.
