Rand Paul/Justin Amash

Rubio is likely though he will not choose Palin as a running mate.

Rand Paul will definitely be involved in the primaries though.

They'll pick whoever wins Iowa and NH. SC & NV, like they always do.

Win that the rest of the country would line up in a row.

Unless they win Iowa and the media suddenly says that winning Iowa doesn't matter. But they wouldn't do that would they?

No thanks. I don't want to throw my money and time into a black hole yet again only for all hopes of success be squashed in the end by a Republican Party establishment that is accountable to no one.

So throwing money to the libertarian party gets you anywhere? Rand is our best chance to have 1 of us get elected to the presidency anytime soon. People are worn out of neocons and big government social cons. Rand fits the bill perfectly for the new redefined Republican party. He also can deliver a great message without compromising our principles.

Look at how eloquently Rand defended his father's policies to a broader base of Republicans.

Meh. Frankly, I'd as soon see both Rand & Amash stay in Congress (along with our new guys Bentivolio & Massie). That's what really matter over the long term.

After all, what's Rand going to do as POTUS that won't simply be undone by whatever bastard follows after him - unless we've got enough of our people in the legislature to have a chance of stopping it.

A Rand in the Senate for who-knows how many years is worth a hell of a lot more than a Rand in the White House for only 8 (at most).

Oh, well ... bright, shiny objects are bright and shiny, I guess ...

But if Rand *does* run for President, why, oh why, OH WHY, does ANYONE think it's a good idea to reduce our presence in Congress even further by taking Amash out of it???

Someone please explain the logic of that, 'cause I just ain't gettin' it.

The Ron Paul movement is the only one I know that obsesses over VP picks before even winning a single primary. Whoever the GOP nominee is, the VP will not even be considered (at least not publicly) until after the primaries are over.

I love Amash, but even if he is legally old enough, public perception will severely handicap that ticket because of his age.
