Largely, I think it's because Ron would go on anyone's show who would allow him airtime for him to spread the message. It doesn't mean he agreed with Alex. They are two separate individuals.
Don't think so though. Going on a show as often as Ron Paul goes on, say, Bill O'Reilly, is just an interview. When a politician goes on a show as often as Paul goes on Alex Jones or Andrew Napolitano's shows, it reaches ideological soul mate territory.
