Rand Paul endorsed Ted Cruz, but is he really our guy?

I just saw this from quote from Glenn Addison's state coordinator regarding the boos in the SC Debate.

It sickened me when the crowed responded to the Christian principle with pure hostility. Great analysis , THANKS Scott Bell!! May our country REPENT!...We must elect godly leaders who will put their Christian values FIRST and LIVE those principles. It is clear Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate that is walking the Christian life. Every state must elect congressmen that are godly to lead us. Glenn Addison for US Senate!

Glenn Addison's 'Issues' page looks like a copy/paste from RonPaul2012

While I was in IA with the GOTV for Ron Paul, I also talked with someone who works within the Ted Cruz campaign. I asked him how Ted Cruz feels about Ron Paul and the Liberty Movement. He said that Cruz is not quite sold on it all yet, but that he's been working real hard on converting Cruz. He did add, as if it were some sort of justification, that Cruz would have voted against NDAA though.

I personally will not be voting for Cruz in the primaries. Glenn Addison has my vote.

edit: I also just saw that Tom Woods is an adviser to the Glenn Addison campaign.

yeah, i'm pretty sure Addison is better than Cruz but Cruz has a much better chance of winning.

I'm always alarmed when a candidate doesn't have an Issues page.

It is important to stop David Dewhurst (and I'm extra motivated since Dewhurst killed HB 602, which would have loosened some of our insane beer laws in Texas), but I hate voting for a blank slate.

Addison has a slim chance of winning.

If I lived in Texas I would back Cruz. He has called the CFR a "pit of vipers". He also is tough on the Fed and opposed NDAA.

I watched a debate last week, somewhat supporting Cruz, and Addison won my vote after about the third time he whipped out a copy of the Constitution and referred to it.

Yeah, Cruz has a chance of winning, and would be like another DeMint in the the Senate I think. (which is far better than KBH or Dewhurst)
Addison seems better on the issues, but polls at 1%. He should probably run for Congress in his district first.

Cruz recently came out against Agenda-21 on Glenn Beck.

Addison cannot win. Cruz can. If I lived in Texas, my vote would go to Cruz. Dewhurst looks terrible.

I live in TX. I will be voting Cruz, though if Addison or Lela Pittenger catch on I may change my mind.

By the way, when asked about foreign policy, Cruz said we should not be the policemen of the world. Not a home run answer, but good enough. I don't want Dewhurst.

Take a moment to google "Heidi Cruz CFR". While you're at it, google "Heidi Cruz Goldman Sachs". Then take a peek at contributions to Cruz in the FEC database.
