I hope they do it. I can't see it hurting either of their primary campaigns and it might help. If they do it in NH, I will be sure to attend even if I have to take a vacation day.

If he refuses it would expose him as a hypocrite. He has no choice and must accept. If he refuses Rand will have a field day with him.

If Bernie truly believes what he says about Democratic Socialism then he'd jump at it. His advisors, however, would never let that happen.

Bad idea. Every single argument Sanders will make will be based on emotions. Americans don't think critically, they think emotionally.

This is why I like Bernie in the race. It makes the debate more honest. The democrats are full of dishonest socialists (corporatists) and the republicans are full of dishonest capitalists (corporatists). It would be good to see two honest men debate even though I consider Bernie wrong on a lot of issues.

It could unite the protest vote as well.

Problem: I thought any debate the candidates entered had to be sanctioned by the party, or else they'd be summarily banned from all official debates? Remember back when the Dem candidates were protesting the limited debate schedule? This is what the party said
