If I was Rand, everytime the word "Isolationist" is used, I would quickly interrupt and say "Please don't curse at me" or "Say that word again and i'll punch you in the shoulder" Basically use humor to tell reporters that the word mean nothing to him and he is pretending to be offended by it. This reverse psychology will cause instigating interviewers to seek out a new slander and diffuse the meaning of the word as it relates to Paul.

I would recommend that somehow we get the electorate to understand that the
original meaning of the word isolationist is about trade . . .
(i.e. if goods do not cross borders, soldiers will" - Bastiat)
. . . it has morphed into something different with the common incorrect usage in the media.

"Isolationist . . . ? No, I am in favor of trade and commerce between nations" might be the tone of a response,
and add that the USA has zero chance of being an isolationist country regardless of who occupies 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
with the production of goods that the world wants . . . even if there is a dent in some of our exports.

Funny that Wolfe talks about 2003 (yes the invasion was in March '03) as the vote for the Iraqi War Resolution Act was actually in November 2002
(Ron Paul (R-TX) and Jim Leach (R-IA) were among the six GOP NO votes btw) and I specifically recall how Wolfe was drumming up support
"instigating" viewers into the action against Iraq with war floor maps that he would walk on, on camera with retired military consultants on air every afternoon -
- all for an action that Bush41 would not take - invade Iraq, when George H.W. Bush drew the line at Kuwait during the Desert Storm actions.

I think it was Ronnie Paul that said we all have this favorite place that we want to get to, but its like when you're driving somewhere we might take different directions but they want the same thing to get to the same place.

I would insult them back by calling them "globalists", who want big-government intervention around the world, and to spread American wealth around, redistributing our tax dollars to people who hate us.

I'd just like to point out his final sentence in the interview was "I think this shows we can be a winnable candidate." That's a pretty hilariously mangled sentence.
