Rand Paul above 50% in what basically seems to amount to a push-poll, what with the "issues of the day" being the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

I agree. The issues polled should have been Cap & Trade and Obamacare, not the CRA & ADA.. The leftist Courier-Journal is really working hard to marginalize Rand.
The comments on the article at http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20105300332 are turning sour. I took the time to register and add my thoughts and got attacked for doing so. Email addresses are a dime a dozen. Just sayin.
This is good news - Rand has weathered the worst of all attacks. Afterall, how could the smears get any worse than being called a racist that hates disabled people? What else can they throw at him?
At the end of the day, the issues will be healthcare, the economy etc. and Rand will increase his lead with these topics.
Hrmmm..
"Paul holds 6-point lead"
"Paul's lead however falls within the poll's margin of error which is +- 4.2%."
Yes, because 6 points is smaller than 4.2%.![]()
I was wondering the exact same thing.
I'm pretty sure that isn't how it works.Rand could be 4.2 lower than he is in the poll, and Conway 4.2 higher than he is in the poll, so the real preference could be 8.4 points off.
In fact, unless the gap is twice as large as the margin of error, there is at least a small chance that the race is too close to call. (That's because each side's estimate has a margin of error around it.)
