Don't bother with global financial system changes, sovereignty loss or war. Let's focus on the tiny percentage of people that get abortions and those that hate them.

I know that Rowe v Wade will never be overturned. I know that for some bizarre reason, people oppose abortion and welfare at the same time and never see the cognitive dissonance. I don't like abortion as a principle but it's a very minor issue that receives way too much attention and is the perfect issue to keep partisans opposing each other.

Slippery slope, sure. And no, govt should NOT be in the business of funding it in any form. Other than that, it's an emotional distraction issue that directly affects a very small percentage of people.

Agreed, but it still is a big issue with many Republican voters, which is who we're trying to win over, of course. Rand can pick up supporters from the socon candidates that are being dropped because they are low in the polls. Huckabee, Santorum, and Carson voters have to go somewhere. Rand is actually doing something, rather than just talk, like the rest of them.

This is an issue Rand can score attention with, when Trump is sucking it all up. It's also an issue that Trump can't steal, after claiming to be "very pro-choice".
