Rand commences futile battle with Ted Cruz

LOL

I'm only falsely accusing Rand of picking this fight out of the blue, and trying to make him look like a partisan hack who owes McConnell, and trying to say his effectiveness is all Establishmentarianism, and blathering about Futility, and pretending that no Republican admires someone who does what needs to be done to effect real change, and trying to help Foxshit Radio build this molehill into a mountain, because I love Rand and want him to be happy.

Yeah, yeah. Tell us another one.

You are really something, thinking that my forum post makes a difference. Open your eyes, this is all over the media.

When you run for president, it doesn't matter how you intended your comments. They make headlines. This is a total disaster and impossible to defend, THAT is why I am frustrated. Everyone knows McConnell is a liar and calling him one is not an insult, it is the truth. And because Rand attacks Cruz for telling the truth he is complicit with McConnell, at least that is how EVERYONE views it, which is all that matters.

I and others put in so much time promoting Rand and then idiocy like this washes all the progress down the toilet.

Which is not the first time he has done something like this in the race which makes us step back and think what is his strategy here. I am thinking his campaign strategy is more like laying the ground work for majority leader than it is running to receive the Republican nomination.

I doubt that. But that wouldn't be a bad consolation prize if he could get it. He could also run for Speaker of the House.

What do you want him to do? Endorse Cruz for president? LOL

No, but the fact that he is publicly and privately closer to McConnell than Cruz (the vessel for anti-DC anger) is seriously harming him.

In case people here haven't noticed, the voters don't want someone who is nice to the GOP establishment. That is why Trump, Carson, Fiorina, and Cruz are high in the polls.

I put more hours in for Rand Paul than your lazy ass could ever imagine.

Go jerk off to some inside job videos.

Oh how I love bringing out the profane attacks. It tells me I struck a nerve ;) Keep on shillin Taftie.

Thank you for admitting you are a troll for the whole forum to see.

LOL! You are a long time neocon shill and everyone that frequents RPF knows it. If trolling a neocon shill is the charge then I plead guilty.

Mostly, probably.

Has everyone on here gotten dumb and forgotten Rand's basic premise from years ago?

Paraphrasing

"My dad tried to change the republican party from outside. I am trying to change the republican party from inside."

Guess what that means? It means that each strategy requires different ability to work with others inside the republican party.

Ron was working from outside...he didnt need any GOP relationships.

Rand is working from INSIDE...and you need GOP relationships to do that.

Its not rocket science but people are making it that.
I agree with this. And, the slobbering blogesphere almost never takes into account the path one must take to get there. In KY McConnell is like Don Corleone. Rand gets nowhere pissing off McConnell.

Actually, Ron learned that lesson with the audit the fed legislation. He specifically mentioned that it only got passed a vote in the house because of Walter Jones who had good GOP relationships and was instrumental in getting cosponsors, since he wasn't good at doing that himself.

Cruz isn't high in the polls. He's higher than Rand but is only in the mid single digits.
