Hillary is in freefall and is getting crushed by Trump and everyone else. She's only going to continue circling the drain. Someone needs to start polling Rand vs Biden.
He has been the one pulling the strings. He states he pays off everyone to get them to do what he wants.I don't support Trump but I was catching some of his speeches on Fox News (ER waiting room TV, wasn't my choice) and like it or not, he's really polished his charisma, and if what was being said by Trump was coming from Rand I would:
1) believe what was being said
2) Be excited about the campaign
Rand is getting my vote in the primaries next year, but honestly I think Trump is running away with this race. Sorry, but unless something just absolutely game-breaking happens between now and then (massive unforgivable scandal of some sort) I think he's gonna win the primary. From the looks of things currently, he's set to take GA.
The establishment here in GA thinks it's just a craze and doesn't really like Trump, but everyday people are really interested in his campaign. I think they're in for a surprise though because while Trump likes to portray himself as an outsider I think the establishment does have SOMETHING they can persuade a rich man with, and I'm sure he will quickly end up as another puppet if he takes office.

What I found as a revealing window into his character was his little spat with Rand. The debate was buying off people to get them to do what You want and when Trump told Rand he paid him as well he was referring to the eye foundation. In other words his donations to charitable organizations isn't done out of the goodness of his heart. He expects to get leverage from those donations. So what does Trump expect from the middle class he so charmingly champions???He says he pulls the strings.
This is the part that blows my mind. Congress is screwing us hard, so obviously what we need to do is grab the first clown who claims to own Congress and make him dictator. So, you own Congress, and Congress is screwing us, so you must be an outsider who loves us and wants us to be happy? Did I miss a step in there?
And what will making you dictator accomplish except to get us screwed faster and cheaper?
I believe it is almost time for Rand to focus on reelection to his senate seat. He is just not resonating with voters right now. Zero percent is ridiculous. Clearly many Ron Paul supporters are not backing him.
How is this clear? Have any of these pollsters called you? Do you really think they don't have their own 'do not call lists'? Do you really think these pollsters are incapable of flipping the votes? Do you really think these numbers aren't cooked? Have you never seen Frank Lutz do his thing?
Zero percent is unbelievable. So why do you believe it?
Neither Ron or Rand really had a chance. Rand screwed up and lost a good portion of Ron's base trying a risky ridgetop walk but in the end Rand could have been RP 2 clone and still not received all of Ron's miserable little slice of a base. 9 out of 10 republicans didn't vote for Ron and a good majority NEVER would have. Ron always had a very high "would never vote for" polling numbers. Trumps numbers prove it solidly. You tell me that those voters now sucking down preemptive war, torture, single payer, corporate bailouts. would have EVER voted for paul. I DON'T THINK SO.
Voting for a senator or congressmen vs president are to entirely difference animals. Case in point. Ron won his congressional seat 11 times with up to 3 to 1 margins. He lost his own district by nearly 4 to l when running for president.Utter nonsense. Rand already did win a majority of Republican voters. That is how he became a Senator in the first place. Rand was perfectly positioned at the start of this race. The political dynamic of the electorate couldn't be better for a Liberty Candidate. Chris Matthews wasn't the only one who thought he could win. A lot of us did. But those predictions were predicated on a solid campaign strategy. I assumed Rand had watched what happened in the Brat-Cantor race and had taken notes and that his campaign this time around would be even better than the one that catapulted him to the Senate. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine he would abandon every electoral principle that brought him to where he is and instead run what is one of the worst campaigns in modern political history.
Rand is at 0% in the polls because he has run a campaign that has appealed to 0% of Republican voters. This isn't rocket science.

No, senators are exactly the same as congressmen. Gore lost his own state running for president. People vote for presidents on a whole different standard. Rand in his hay day when he was leading the polls was only polling 16 stinking percent. Yes Rand might be able to sell himself better but if he is anything like his father no matter what anyone else says he will keep doing what he is doing.Congressman, yes. Senator though is not all that different than President. Ron lost badly when he went after the GOP Senate nomination. Rand won it running away. He'd be leading, or at the very worst, be occupying the second place slot Ben Carson currently has, if he had simply replicated his Senate campaign. If he used that as a base and enhanced it with what was learned in the Brat campaign, he'd be absolutely dominating right now. It is all how you present yourself and your positions.

KY is not a microcosm of the whole US.
